Eric Wimberger was born and raised in DePere. After high school, he attended St. Cloud State University. Active in student affairs, he was the student body president before receiving a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He then drove orange semi-trucks for a local trucking company long haul, logging more than 120k safe miles before enrolling at Marquette University Law School.
With his Juris Doctor, Eric Wimberger was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate where he honed his legal skills. He was stationed mostly in Japan and Washington D.C., honorably discharging as a Captain. Duty assignments included Senior Defense Counsel at Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, Senior Legal Assistance Officer at Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, and Attorney Adviser for the Department of the Navy Physical Evaluation Board in Washington, D.C.
Home in 2010, Eric Wimberger opened his law practice, diligently representing his clients for the ends of justice as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star.”
Eric Wimberger remains dedicated to making a positive difference in the community. When not developing his law practice, he serves on the philanthropic Cloud Family Foundation as a board member. You can also find him often helping his mom make great family memories at her small business, Sweet Memories Candy Shoppe, in Lakewood.
